Responsibilities
- Assist in continuous appraisal of company’s financial health by evaluating and monitoring P&L, backlog, labor utilization, B&P, and budget utilization
- Assist the financial team to develop forecasting models to predict the company’s short and mid-term financial health
- Assist the company’s M&A team to develop assessment model for investments
- Support the company’s accounting team to defend its audits using DCAA guidelines
- Leverage the company’s various data analytics and BI tools and conduct analytical research of targeted competitors and their respective competitive pricing and bid models
- Datamine, continuous monitor, adjust and finetune BI model as data is validated
- Develop a deep understanding of competitors, customers, markets, and technologies, and report regularly on trends within each of the areas to stakeholders through research and analysis
- Prepare and present summaries or dashboards to management and other internal clients
- Create and implement new processes, templates, and dashboards related to gathered competitive intelligence to allow for effective distribution and consumption of data
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting methods
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Jupiter Notebook, Python, SQL, or R
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Location:
- Remote, USA
Salary Information:
- The pay for this position ranges from $52,400 to $62,800
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
