EAP Advice Line Counsellor

Salary/Rates:

£29,500 [Pro-Rata / Under-250 Clinical Hrs]
£30,500 [Pro Rata / 250+ Clinical Hrs]

Hours: Upto 31.5hrs (Flexible depending on preference)

Home/Remote Working: 4 days/shifts per week (one in four Saturdays) on rotation with mixed shifts available covering the hours between 8am to 9pm

This is an exciting role for a BACP/UKCP registered counsellor to join our team of multitasking Advice Line Telephone Counsellors at CiC.

What you'll be doing as an EAP Advice Line Counsellor:

  • Provide counselling support to our customers employees
  • Answering calls from staff at our customer organisations & respond to their enquiries by assessing their needs & identifying the appropriate next steps
  • Referring individuals to counselling & other support services, such as legal advice or financial support
  • Deliver in-house counselling sessions; some cases are delivered within the frame of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), others, depending on the counsellors’ qualifications, are more complex EMDR or CBT with a trauma focus.
  • Creating and updating Client records after each correspondence
  • Signposting to other support available via our network

Must haves to be part of our EAP Advice Line Team:

  • Recognised Counselling qualification
  • BACP/UKCP registration
  • Experience of counselling different sectors of clients in society

Ideally, we are looking for participants with 250 post-qualification clinical hours and prior EAP experience.
