Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000


Job Summary:


The Director of Compliance will report to the Chief Medical Officer. The Director of Compliance will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare in collaboration with Concert’s many partner health systems. The Director of Compliance will develop and implement policies, procedures, and tech-forward and, wherever possible, automated systems that promote ethical behavior and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Director of Compliance will work collaboratively with all departments within the organization to ensure that compliance issues are identified, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Build a world-class compliance program that improves operational and clinical excellence and efficiency and serves as a major force for learning in the organization.
  • Provide oversight to all business processes that involve compliance and regulations.
  • Stay current on Collaborative Care Model best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in this relatively new care model.
  • Develop policies and procedures that establish standards for compliance and ensure privacy protection, providing specific guidance to management, clinical staff, and individual departments or employees, as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Maintain an awareness of federal and state laws and regulations, keeping abreast of current changes that may affect healthcare systems through personal research, seminars, and peer contact, ensuring that the organization is kept at the highest level of compliance.
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems to monitor compliance with policies and procedures, investigate any non-compliance in collaboration with senior management, and provide training and education to all staff members on healthcare compliance issues.
  • Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures and implement mitigation plans to rectify inconsistencies. 
  • Conduct annual and as-needed departmental risk assessments to identify compliance risks and implement strategies to mitigate those risks
