We are looking for a Director, Merchandise Planning for our Levi's brand. You will have responsibility for providing direction to the Ecommerce Planning Organization. The Planning Director will manage the development and leadership of a team and achieve financial results that support brand/category vision. You will a part of a diverse team including Merchandising, Allocation, Operations, Finance, Brand Environment and Marketing.
About the Job
Partner with Merchandising to develop strategic category plans and cc targets to promote brand vision
Partner with Finance teams to build Annual Financial Plans
Create tops down seasonal financial plans that support category strategies
Build applicable strategies around risks and opportunities identified in the business
Provide direction and lead team to build bottom up sales and inventory style plans that achieve line productivity and support sales and inventory financial targets
Present and gain understanding from Regional leadership during Investment Review process
Manage Monthly OTB process, including Tops down forecast and reconciling teams’ Bottoms up forecast
Establish and forecast weekly Store KPIs including Traffic, Conversion, and UPT.
Guide in season business, pulling financial levers, modeling promotional opportunities, managing markdowns, and partnering with cross-functional team on marketing/messaging
Partner with Allocation team to ensure seasonal plans are supported with appropriate inventory, managing to a cost turn target and quarterly EOP targets
Manage Monthly demand process
Support Store Openings and remodels
Partner with Merchandising team to map out workload that supports the GTM (go-to-market calendar) and essential milestone meetings
You will report into our Sr. Director of DTC Planning and Allocation
About You
10+ years of experience in areas including the following – Merchandise Financial Planning, Buying, Demand Forecasting, Inventory management, Store Allocation, Production Planning, Sales and Operations Planning and Planning Systems & Tools
Education: Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of supervisory experience
San Francisco based preferred, but open to remote
Ability to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
Balance process needs and timelines
The expected starting salary range for this role is $142,100-$215,200 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
