The anticipated salary range for this role is between $119,000.00 and $160,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

SUMMARY:

Jenius Bank is seeking an experienced direct mail marketing professional within the Marketing Team. This role will drive the success of direct mail campaigns, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery. These responsibilities include but are not limited to leveraging data-driven insights to improve targeting, audience segmentation, and campaign outcomes to optimize campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading data-driven direct mail acquisition strategies for Financial Services products in a highly collaborative and dynamic organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage large-scale direct mail campaigns aimed at driving new customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Risk, Finance, Product, Data & Analytics) to align on campaign goals and execution.
  • Work closely with credit bureaus and agencies to procure and optimize audience segmentation files, , and develop new machine learning models.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring on-time production, budget control, and quality output for all creative assets.
  • Lead campaign forecasting, in partnership with Data & Analytics and agencies, including financial performance, cost, and revenue projections, while maintaining dashboards and KPIs.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Direct Mail Marketing with a strong focus on campaign execution, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns and leading external vendors (e.g., credit bureaus, agencies, lettershops).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Previous experience managing budgets and vendor contracts in a high-volume marketing environment.
  • Experience using data analytics to inform campaign decisions and drive growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product, legal, compliance, and finance teams for approvals and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk through adherence to regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics team to establish strong KPI and analysis frameworks for socializing results with senior leadership
