About the role:
As a Core AE you will be helping our largest and most strategic mid-market sized customers consolidate outdated technologies, digitize workflows, and unlock game-changing data insights that will transform their businesses. We are helping the companies that literally keep our lights on, put food on our tables, and build our communities to become safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Typical sales will be $100k to $500k, and typically involve POCs, multiple stakeholders, managing trials, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs.
This role is remote and based in the U.S. Candidates should be located in CST or EST.

In this role, you will:
- Develop Executive-Level relationships within strategic, named accounts.
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Demonstrate excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns
- All Roles: Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
- People Manager Roles: Hire, develop and direct an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
