Technology Aspect
Stellar Virtual does not currently provide all employees or contractors with the necessary equipment (i.e., computers, internet service, telephone, home office setup, etc.) required for employment. Depending on your position, you may be assigned a company-issued device to use throughout your tenure of employment.
Scope of Work
The Contractor of Quality Assurance partners with the Marketing & Registration team to support application review efforts before approval to ensure clean data across programs throughout Stellar Virtual in Texas. This role is crucial in attracting prospective students, increasing enrollment, and streamlining the registration process. The position is a contract position (1099).
Essential Contractor Functions
Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing & Registration Leadership team to ensure clean registration data
Database Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date lead database, ensuring
Data Tracking: Use customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track applications through the sales funnel to approval.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Proven experience in customer service or similar environments.
Strong understanding of virtual education programs and EdTech trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to make phone calls and review enrollment documents as required by the Supervisor
Strong data entry and review skills
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Familiarity with CRM systems and tracking tools.
Participate in in-person state testing, if needed
Ability to accurately review and update student data on applications to make sure required document and application data matches
Education & Certification Requirements
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A bachelor’s degree in a related position or industry is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in a similar role within the virtual education industry is a plus.
Contractor Position Details
This is a contract position (1099-SE, Self-Employed).
Contractors will work remotely from their chosen locations.
Service hours are not guaranteed and are based solely on business needs.
Contractors are paid on an hourly, month-to-month basis, paid out on the 15th of each month, for hours worked in the previous month.
