About the Position


The Internal Communications Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing internal communications, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting the pharmacy's mission of providing exceptional care to diabetic patients. This position will report directly to the Director of Training & Organizational Development.

 

Location: Remote

Hours:  Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM PST


Essential Functions

  • Creates and executes comprehensive internal communication plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives. 
  • Ensures consistent messaging across all internal channels.
  • Develops high-quality content for internal communications, including newsletters, intranet articles, emails, presentations, and other materials that engage and inform employees.
  • Designs and plans job aides, PowerPoint, and other training documents in partnership with Corporate Trainers as needed for understanding of organization policies, procedures, and processes. 
  • Plans and coordinates initiatives that promote employee engagement and enhance the overall employee experience. 
  • Supports programs and events that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Leads and manages internal communication campaigns to support organizational changes, new initiatives, and key projects. 
  • Ensures timely and effective dissemination of information.
  • Works closely with various departments, including HR, Marketing, and Operations, to gather information, align messaging, and support cross-functional communication efforts.
  • Establishes and maintain channels for employee feedback. 
  • Analyzes feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement in internal communications.
  • Assists in the development and execution of internal crisis communication plans. 
  • Ensures clear, accurate, and timely communication during critical situations.
  • Tracks and measures the effectiveness of internal communication efforts. 
  • Provides regular reports and recommendations for improvement to the Director of Organizational Development.
