The Collections Supervisor is a proactive leader with a passion for collections and a commitment to customer experience to lead our collections team. This role is crucial for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and fostering strong relationships with customers. This position monitors changes in our business operations and ensures the team has the adequate resources and knowledge to deliver results.
What You’ll Do
Supervise, mentor, and train a team of collections specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals
Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and optimize cash flow
Review and prioritize outstanding accounts, determining appropriate collection actions and strategies
Manage customer interactions regarding payment terms, disputes, and resolutions while maintaining a professional demeanor
Analyze team performance metrics, preparing reports for management on collection efficiency and outcomes
Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction
Identify and resolve complex issues related to accounts receivable and collections processes
Conduct ongoing training sessions for the collections team to improve skills and knowledge in collections techniques to support company objectives
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
3+ years of experience in collections, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of B2B collections processes, SaaS billing models, and financial principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet goals and targets
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
10% Travel for customer and internal meetings
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $68,000.00 - $108,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
