Selective Insurance is seeking a Claims Technical Specialist - E&S Construction Defect. This is a fully remote position, if desired. Selective has numerous physical offices throughout the country, so the position can also be a work from office or hybrid position as well.

The purpose of this position is to provide direct handling of the company’s moderate construction defect claims. Responsibilities of this position include coverage analysis, risk transfer, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of assigned claims, including tenders from alleged additional insureds and co-carriers. Candidate must possess strong litigation management skills to aggressively manage litigation activities, budgets and claim outcomes while considering the overall impact to the customer and company.
