Case Management - Data and Admin Specialist (Hybrid-Remote, Twin Cities Area)

SUMMARY
The goal of RS EDEN Supportive Housing and Services is to improve individual and community safety, holistic wellness, recovery, increase in skills and income, and housing stability. The Data and Admin Specialist is responsible for supporting data entry and systems, program and file compliance, supports the purchasing and ordering of supplies that support clients and staff, and completion of special projects.
The Data and Admin Specialist supports the Data, Compliance, and Administration Team by completing program data entry, reporting, program, and file compliance, and supporting Procentive and billable services. They ensure data entered is quality, they adhere to program and agency protocols, and file/programmatic compliance. They maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with all RS EDEN leaders and other internal teams including Services Intake, Compliance, and Finance to ensure effective communication. They regularly seek client, stakeholder, and community feedback both formally and informally, and utilize the information to improve and further develop data, compliance, and administrative processes. They are mission-driven, employ innovation, creativeness, and flexibility, and a willingness to apply learned and evidence-based practices, and experiences effectively.
Pay ranges from $43,000-$48,000 per year
This role is hybrid-remote in the Twin Cities Area
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support data entry and data systems; ensure high quality data is collected and reported in adherence with program requirements and standards; ensure program and file compliance is maintained
· Develop effective working relationships with the Connection Center, Service Delivery, Housing Data and Compliance, and Property Management and Operations staff.
· Prepare internal and external programmatic and funding reports in partnership with Director of Data, Compliance, and Admin
· Support Housing Support Program; partner with Service Delivery staff to ensure program compliance and communicate directly with Hennepin County; support the supply of Household Needs distribution for Housing Support Participants by ordering, picking up, and distributing the Household Need items.
· Contribute to further development of Housing Stabilization Service billing in partnership with Service Delivery, Billing and Finance leadership
· Develop positive working relationships with staff at all levels of RS EDEN, foster partnerships and facilitate cross-programmatic communication
· Promote a positive, productive, inclusive, and challenging work environment and implement team-work procedures among colleagues
· Maintain a current understanding of best practices, trends, and new developments within the Permanent Supportive Housing systems, including Mental Health, Substance Use, Criminal Justice, and homeless response systems
· Safeguard personally identifiable information in accordance with duties, agency, and data systems standards
· Participate in staff meetings, in-service and outside trainings to maintain personal growth and development, as well as professional competence
· Maintain open, transparent, and timely communication with Director of Data, Compliance, and Administration and other leadership staff as requested; utilize Director of Data, Compliance, and Administration regularly for consultation around job responsibilities
· Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Data, Compliance, and Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- AS/BS Degree in Human Services or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with the Homelessness Response Systems, Supportive Housing, Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health response systems and familiarity with relevant stakeholders and community providers
- Preferred Familiarity with data systems; MHIS, HMIS, MN-ITs, Procentive, Sage, eSnaps
- Experience working with diverse cultural groups
- Ability to relate with people from diverse backgrounds with multiple individual and systemic barriers to success
- Possess and exercise sound judgment, organizational skills, and strong, flexible time management practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to dissolve and resolve conflicts with staff and within participant structure
- Ability to understand and communicate data collection, data standards, fidelity standards, processes, and procedures appropriate to data entry to service staff.
- Possess computer literacy skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Positive driving record (periodic review of driving record required)
- Valid state driver’s license
- Working vehicle to pick up and deliver client supplies
- Criminal background check must show compliance with the regulations required under statute related to the Kari Koskinen law and DHS.
