As Storable continues to grow both organically and through acquisition, so too is our Accounting team. Therefore, we are searching for an Accountant with strong accounting skills and experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment. An ideal candidate will be able to apply their strong excel skills and analytical thinking to our current procedures and process flows. The most successful candidate will not only have a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, but also thrive working in a deadline-oriented environment, showing strong attention to detail and enjoy being a team player. This individual will report directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting.

What you will do:

• Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and allowances
• Ensure invoices, expense reports, and check requests have proper approvals and proper documentation
• Ensure the timely, proper, and accurate reporting of accounting transactions in a manner consistent with GAAP accounting principles
• Assist with year-end audits and corporate tax requests
• Assist with implementation of process improvements and automation of manual processes 
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience 
• CPA a plus (or progress towards certification)
• Experience with insurance and SaaS accounting preferred
• Prior experience with Quickbooks and NetSuite preferred

What you will need:

• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and application
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong excel skills over large amounts of data (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Charts)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills
