Summary

We are seeking a talented Principal People Business Partner to join our rapidly growing company. Our ideal next teammate will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management both within and across the Product & Engineering client group. You’ll play a critical, partnership oriented role within the People function, helping to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the organization's business objectives.


What You'll Do

  • Act as a key strategic partner to the Product & Engineering leadership teams, shaping growth plans and business objectives that drive real impact.
  • Be the trusted advisor VPs and C-Level Executives turn to, ensuring our people strategy fuels business success.
  • Influence talent and business initiatives that drive high performance and operational excellence.
  • Guide organizational design and proactive change management to ensure teams are structured for agility and long-term success.
  • Drive workforce planning by assessing capabilities, identifying skill gaps, and developing the talent needed to achieve each department’s boldest goals.
  • Partner with leaders to proactively address employee relations matters, ensuring a fair, consistent, and solutions-oriented approach that supports both employees and business needs.
  • Coach managers on how to lead through change, navigate tough conversations, and build engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Leverage people data to uncover trends, address challenges, and take proactive steps to retain top talent.

What You Need:

  • 10+ years expertise across multiple People functions, including compensation, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, and employment law.
  • A strong executive presence with the confidence and influence to coach and work with senior leaders.
  • Business savvy with the ability to connect Product & Engineering objectives to impactful people strategies.
  • A track record of success in high-growth tech startups, ideally with international exposure.
  • Deep knowledge of employee development strategies that actually move the needle.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, make tough calls, and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strategic mindset with a knack for solving complex challenges through data-driven solutions.
  • A history of turning big ideas into real, high-impact programs.

The US base salary range for this role is $154,000-$227,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.


Within the range, individual compensation is determined by various factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter will provide more specific details on the salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
