We are looking for a passionate, engaged, and capable team member who is driven to manage and nurture relationships. You’ll be working alongside a fierce, global team as our new Client Strategy Manager.

If you have experience in consultative-based client relationship management, this role may be for you. Gaining a deep understanding of your clients’ goals and advising them about achieving those goals, identifying and easing potential pain points before they become problematic, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts with value-added services, your primary focus will be ensuring your clients’ success.

To our clients, you will be the face of Compose.ly. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for our clients on a day-to-day basis and will be responsible for building and nurturing each relationship through strategy setting, solid execution, and excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include onboarding new clients, consulting on content strategy, managing and successfully delivering ongoing client projects, monitoring results and adjusting as needed, completing monthly client check-ins, and driving continuous process improvement.

  • You have 3+ years of related experience, preferably with an agency

  • You are proficient in Google Suite, Ahrefs, and CRM software
  • Google Analytics certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Client Relationships

  • Evaluate client needs strategically, conduct research across various industries, and devise strategies to achieve client success
  • Take proactive steps to foster and enhance existing client relationships and ensure retention while identifying avenues for expansion
  • Employ critical thinking to analyze metrics and offer client recommendations based on insights
  • Create, execute, and oversee strategic marketing plans encompassing brand development, web initiatives, and digital endeavors
  • Effectively communicate with both clients and internal teams on matters including brand strategy, on-page SEO, technical SEO, off-page SEO, lead generation, thought leadership, analytics, etc.
  • Execute projects successfully, adhering to project management best practices to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Cultivate positive internal relationships while managing all aspects of projects, including estimates, timelines, and deliverables
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to establish rapport with clients. Embrace evolving trends in branding, marketing, design, and technology

Client Communication

  • Understand and articulate our solution sets and value propositions
  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for any strategy or project-management inquiries
  • Set and manage client expectations for project deliverables, timelines, and results
  • Gather and document required information from clients
  • Identify and help fulfill clients’ critical goals and target ROI
  • Consistently assess client satisfaction
  • Manage account escalations

Process Management

  • Own client onboarding process
  • Maintain accurate client data within CRM
  • Proactively assess client pain points and concerns to minimize churn
  • Assess urgency/prioritization to ensure project delivery with multiple deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $60,000 annually
  • Commission on all managed accounts with an estimated 80-100% of base salary earnings.
